Crane it.  Plug it.  Live it.

Two original inhabit modular homes are for sale.  Seattle based Unico Properties commissioned the architecture firms Mithun and HyBrid to design modular homes that offer clean, modern, green architecture.  It’s like living in a work of art.

Nearly 1,500 people toured these two homes, dubbed “inhabit“, to view the future of sustainable living.  Open living spaces and bold design were formed using environmentally-responsible materials and construction practices.

Combined, the two homes offer approximately 1,155 sq. ft of living space and feature:

  • Engineered wood and polished rubber flooring
  • Floor-to-ceiling windows made from energy efficient fiberglass frames
  • Low volatile organic compound (V.O.C.) paint
  • Dual-flush toilets
  • Decking made of recycled plastic and cellulose
  • Green grid roof to reduce storm water runoff
  • The two kitchens feature European style cabinetry and stainless steel countertops with backsplash lighting
  • Appliance package for each module includes a 24” LG cabinet depth refrigerator, GE cooktop, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, and Aska front-loading combination washer/dryer

The inhabit modular homes can be sold as pairs or separately.  You can stack them vertically, separate them into two cottages, or reconfigure them to form a single home centered on the outdoor terrace.

Offers between $140,000 and $155,000 per home will be considered.  Unico will crane the homes off their current location in downtown Seattle and arrange for transportation at no additional charge.  Shipping, craning and reconfiguration costs at the buyer’s site will be covered by the buyer.
